I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you taught me: the correct techniques and, above all, the aesthetic sense and sensitivity for the voice. You were the best teacher I encountered during my studies in Italy.

If you would like to properly use your body to give birth to sound, Gennaro will light your candle. What a master and teacher! He took time to ask me about my musical intentions and what I wanted to achieve. He gifted me vision keys with techniques and practices to build a foundation in my body to properly sing. I can't recommend his class enough!!!

Gennaro Sica is an excellent and gentle teacher. I remember my first lesson with him was on December 1st, 2023. I had just arrived in Italy and could barely speak a few words of Italian. I spent a long time carefully choosing my words and consulting the dictionary to schedule a lesson with him via WhatsApp… When we met in person, he seemed much kinder and more compassionate than in his photos. During our first lesson, he comforted me, saying not to be nervous, that he was also nervous when he first taught a master, and that everyone goes through that. After hearing that, I knew I had to learn from him no matter what!

Almost two years have passed since then, and my transformation and progress are unimaginable back home. Each lesson with him lasts at least 70-80 minutes, with 50 minutes dedicated to vocal exercises! This is true technical training, also known as Vecchia Scuola. The teacher will always tailor vocal exercises and repertoire to your voice. He always emphasizes singing softly, the so-called "leggero," which doesn't mean singing softly, but rather teaching a healthier, non-spinto style of singing. Under this teaching method, your voice will gradually improve and become stronger over time. When you realize it, you'll find many of your previous problems have disappeared because your foundation has been solidified.

If you are a Chinese student in Italy who wants to improve your professional skills, I highly recommend taking classes with Teacher Sica. He demonstrates HC (vocalization) in every class! This shows that he not only sets high standards for his students but also understands the importance of personal growth.

If you choose to take classes with him, cherish his opportunity. He has a very good temper and will never get angry with students (unless you're obsessed with spinto, haha).

I am incredibly fortunate to have met Gennaro Sica during my studies in Italy. His singing technique is so scientific, his understanding of music so accurate, and he is so dedicated and responsible to every student. He is a great, kind, and trustworthy teacher, worthy of the trust and support of every vocal student. Furthermore, he possesses a great personal charm. As a vocal student from China, meeting him was such a stroke of luck. I think of an Italian word that perfectly describes him: "zuzzurullone," which roughly translates to "playful old man." Every lesson with Sica not only taught me the most correct and authentic Italian vocal techniques but also instilled in me the importance of facing each day and our beloved profession with passion and enthusiasm. In short, Sica will be a guiding light for every student in both their professional life and personal development, illuminating the path forward.

Gennaro Sica is a great teacher whose techniques are purely designed for the vocal cords and music of Goethe. His teaching methods are very easy to understand, and his patience is unparalleled. The time I spent with him is a very precious memory, and I am very reluctant to leave.

Gennaro is an excellent teacher. I've learned so much from him in just one lesson, he showed me some great positions. He is experienced, kind and very patient with teaching and I learned a lot from him in just one lesson -- and he was teaching in English.

He is awesome! I highly recommend him. I was a bad student too, as my schedule in Firenze was more overwhelming than previously anticipated and he was very patient with me.
