Lessons and advanced courses for opera singers

This course is essential for a singer who is eager to learn and sustain a solid vocal technique, applying the principles of the Old Italian School of Singing in conjunction with the laws of nature, discovering vocal mechanisms which regulate the essential extension, projection, brillance and agility of their natural voice.
This work counteracts those who rely on, and will ultimately fail from, the modern and istantaneous methods of creating a synthetic sound i.e. bringing the sound in the head or in the mask, forcing the larynx low or high, raising or lowering the palate. This sort of training is a phycally unsustainable as it is physically damaging as these singers are more concerned with “making a voice” than they are with allowing the body to express itself through voice.
Systematically educated by the techniques and inducted by the concepts of the old school exactly how, over 60 years, I have kept my voice completely unscathed and in good performative healt in old age. I currently teach singing and share with young singers the same passion, experience and advice I acquired in this field of scientific knowledge and first-hand experience.
